(1) Check your mini's > https://littleactionelvismoreindia-free-betakwqp.peatix.com. System Preferences.. > Sound > Input setting to be sure iSight (or other if desired) mic is selected as your 'Input device'. Also verify that the 'Input volume' slider is positioned so at least half of the 'Input level' indicator lights flicker while you talk.
If you cannot get this to work with iSight's mic, the iSight, its cable, or its connection may be faulty. You can test your external iSightusing the suggestions in this link, including Apple's troubleshooting suggestions fromhttp://support.apple.com/kb/HT2090
Be sure to verify that iSight's mic works to record with Apple apps like Photo Boothand QuickTime Player. If not, verify the symptoms are EXACTLY the same in more than one user account. Don't use the 'Guest' account for this test. If your Mac only has one account, create a new user account for testing. (A 'Standard' account is all you need for testing.)
(2) If audio works with Apple apps and the trouble is ONLY with Skype, verify that you are using the latest Skype compatible with your system.
